All mothers present will receive a special gift.

During the service two ladies will give testimonies, along with some written tributes, honoring and remembering their mothers for the influence they have had on their lives.

TAKE A PICTURE!  Immediately following the worship service you will have the opportunity to photograph your mother on your cell phones in the beautiful setting of the Bride’s Room.  For those without a phone camera, we will photograph your mom and put the photo on the church website.  A mother’s throne is in  place for the photo.  Above the throne a banner will read,

Guests are invited to meet our pastor and enjoy some coffee and other refreshments immediately following the service at the coffee station (located in the main entrance of the foyer).  You may drop off your Guest Information card which is attached to your bulletin and receive more information about our church at that time.

The Insanity of Obedience, by missionaries Nik and Ruth Ripken, is a 6 week video driven study beginning Sunday, May 28th at 4:30pm in the Holy Grounds Cafe.

All Christian disciples will face adversity and persecution as they carry the gospel across the ocean or across the street.

How we respond reveals everything about our level of faith and obedience.

In this study Nik Ripken issues a bold challenge to global discipleship.

Worldviews:  Everyone has a worldview, whether they realize it or not.  In this class we will examine the fundamental parts of the Christian worldview.  We will then examine other worldviews including Islam, the “New Age”, naturalism, and scientism to see what they believe and how we as Christians can respond as salt and light.

The May Caregiver Support Group meeting will be on Thursday, May 25th at 9:00 in the fellowship hall.

Audrey Hanline, program manager for Covenant Alzheimers Care will be our speaker.

The topic will be “Understanding Dementia.”

This presentation will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, the common behavior changes associated with dementia and communication techniques for interacting with a person with dementia.
