Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard

Are you or someone you know food insufficient? The Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard invites anyone who lives within the bounds of the Upper Merion Area School District to shop two times each month. The UMACC is located in the Valley Forge Presbyterian building (191 Town Center Road, KOP). There is a *REQUEST* Rambler stop nearby at the Valley Forge Shopping Center. If you'd like to be picked up or dropped off at that location, please call 610-354-8899. Yard Waste Collection

Now through October 26

The yard waste collection season will run through Friday, October 26, 2018. Pickup days will vary each week depending on workload and weather. We will make every effort to collect yard waste the same week the request is submitted. Fill out a request for service online or call the Public Works Department at 610-265-8465 before 12:00PM on the Tuesday of the week you wish to have your yard waste picked up. Please follow the collection guidelines.

Neighborhood Meals on Wheels

We are in great need of volunteers on a weekly, monthly or substitute basis in the King of Prussia area. If you would like to help, we would be happy to have you join us to see if this is a volunteer opportunity you would enjoy. Emerald Ash Borer Phase II: Timber Harvest at Heuser Park

The second phase of the township's Emerald Ash Borer Mitigation Plan at Heuser Park is in progress. A timber harvest is taking place on the Schuylkill River West Trail. Access to the trail will be restricted during the logging process for safety reasons.

Spotted Lanternfly Public Information Session

Pottstown Borough Hall

Have you heard of the Spotted Lanternfly? Unfortunately, this invasive critter has been found in our county. They pose a threat to many trees, including fruit trees, willows, maples, and more. Attend this information session to learn about the Spotted Lanternfly in your community. Presenters from the Montgomery and Berks County Conservation Districts will provide information and background, share control strategies, and answer questions. Registration is required.

Stop unwanted mail and catalogs and opt out of national junk mail. Contact local and regional companies sending you unwanted mail to ask to be taken off their lists. Opt out of receiving unwanted credit card and insurance offers, and opt in for e-billing and e-statements whenever possible.

Roadway Restrictions & Alerts

PA Turnpike Pulaski Drive Ramp Closure

The Pulaski Drive access ramp to the Valley Forge Interchange will be closed from Friday, September 14 at 11:00PM to Monday, September 17 at 5:00AM. Pulaski Drive itself will remain open during this time, but travelers should experience minimal delays during construction.
