Dear --FNAME--,

The New Jersey Highlands Coalition is a diverse network of 100 member organizations. We represent their shared interest in preserving the natural and cultural resources of the New Jersey Highlands and to protect its abundant supply of drinking water that over six million people and a large segment of New Jersey’s commerce and industry depend upon.
However, the pressures to develop the Highlands—to permanently extinguish the region’s ever-giving natural resource values—only increases with time. We are the front line defense protecting the Highlands.
The strategies we employ everyday—education and outreach; advocacy at the municipal, county, regional and federal levels of government; collaboration with other statewide environmental and conservation groups; empowering grassroots groups in the Highlands to become more effective; remaining constantly vigilant to emerging threats; calling our members and partners to action when needed; and by discovering new and creative ways to help people understand that the social and economic values derived from the Highlands are far greater if protected than if developed—are what make us effective.
Only as long as we have your continuing support.
That’s why I urge you to donate today – it’s so important.
