Parent/Child Workshop

Fridays, March 2, 9, 16 and 23  · 10-11:15am

Young children and their parents/caregivers are invited to a special 4 week play-focused workshop series.  While the kids enjoy fun and educational toys, child development specialists will be on hand to answer your questions.

Help your child learn and grow through fun stories, music, rhythm and rhyming activities. Registration not required, but preferred.

Play Workshops

Parachute Storytime

A Wrinkle in Time Book Discussion

Are you interested in the new movie A Wrinkle in Time?  Read the book first and then join us for a night dedicated to this children's sci-fi classic.  We'll talk about the book, play trivia and do other fun activities. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the book in advance.

Explore science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) in this hands-on program made for preschoolers.  This month's theme is birds and flight. Registration required.

Spring Storytimes Begin Week of March 26

 

Our six-week winter session begins this week with great storytimes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and families offered in both the day and evening.  Registration required.

Child Passenger Safety Education with Booster Seat Giveaway

Find out how to keep your child safe in the car by talking to experts from the Montgomery County Health Department.  There will also be a FREE booster seat giveaway while supplies last.  To receive a seat, children must be present with their parents and be at least 4 years old, 40 pounds and 40 inches tall.  No registration required.

Puppets Pizzazz

Join us as we kick off April Family Reading Month in style.  Don't miss this awesome Superhero themed puppet show set to current songs.  It will cover topics on how to be a super person by being kind, compassionate, having good manners and making good decisions. Registration is preferred but not required.
