Sunday School: Doubting Thomas
Join us at 10:05am this Sunday beginning in the sanctuary.

Sometimes it can be difficult to see the hope in God’s promises to us. We can be distracted by the bad news around us in the world, and doubt God’s reality or God’s ability to change things. Doubt is a natural and normal experience, one that can ultimately serve to strengthen our faith.  This week in Sunday school, we will see that we are not alone – even Thomas, a disciple who had lived with and known the person Jesus, had doubts about God’s saving and resurrecting power. Come find out how Jesus helped to cure Thomas’ doubt!
God's Global Barnyard
We did it! Throughout March and April, we received donations totaling $1052.90 for ELCA World Hunger and God's Global Barnyard. The congregation council also approved $750 from our Other Benevolence budget line for a total of $1802.90 raised! Amazing! Thank you to everyone who participated in our "God's Global Barnyard" presentation in worship, and supported this drive throughout March and early April.
See you for Confirmation Class tomorrow (Friday, April 21) from 7-9:30pm at the home of the Richards family. Please note that our start time is later than usual.
Easter Breakfast
Not only were our new egg casserole and french toast recipes a big hit, but also after food costs we raised a total of $1213 for our youth program at Advent. This overwhelming support ensures meetings, outings, internships, special retreats (like our ski/snowboard trip) and more can happen for youth here at Advent this year! A big thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser.
Youth Night
Our next youth group gathering is next Sunday, April 30 from 6-8pm.

All high-school and confirmed youth are invited to join us in the youth room (next to the kitchen) for conversation, snacks, and fun times!
