Works by Richard McWhorter

The pieces  explore some of the range of current painting. There are simple still lifes of favorite things, and studies of how Vermeer created his luminous spaces.  Beyond those traditional grounds, some of the works use less conventional materials and operations seeking new directions. Artist discussion at 7:30 p.m. both dates. Light refreshments served both evenings as well. Free. At The Cove, 402 N. Tennessee.
