Worship This Sunday
Join us in the Sanctuary at 8:45 or 11:15 am.
UMW Sunday.  Fifth Sunday of Easter.

Mothers come in many different forms, and this Sunday, Mother's Day, we celebrate them all.  Everyone is a son or daughter. We thank God for mothers of the past, for mothers of today, for soon-to-be-mothers, for women who took children in through adoption or foster care, for women who have lost a child to death and must carry on, and for all women who have not had children of their own, but choose instead to mother everyone else. We thank you, God, for the women who have influenced our lives in so many ways. We pray that we will honor them in everything we do. Thank God for mothers!

Sunday's Scripture Readings:  1 Peter 2:2-10 and John 14:1-14
Sunday's Message:  Untroubled

At 8:45 (our Contemporary Worship Service) songs of worship include There is Joy in the Lord; Lord, Reign In Me; I Could Sing of Your Love Forever; Came to My Rescue; and Friend of God. Listen to Sunday's playlist on YouTube!

At 11:15 (our Traditional Worship Service) we celebrate with hymns To God Be the Glory, His Eye Is On The Sparrow and How Great Thou ArtOrganist, J. Curt Brown will accompany our singing.

Something for all ages this Sunday, during the 10 o'clock education hour!

Here's what's happening for adults...

As Christians, we often describe ourselves as Easter people.

But what does that mean for us?

This Sunday, Adult Education will be a special morning
and it will conclude our discussion of what it means to be Easter people.

We’ll read Luke 24, in which Jesus appears on the road to Emmaus. We will take time for a discussion of the significance of this passage, focusing on the sharing of a meal as the means through which Jesus is revealed. Then we will share a meal together—real, actual food!—as a sign and sending for us in our own faith journey.

Join us for challenging discussion and a time of loving and uplifting table fellowship.
