"Fasting" from: Unsustainable Transportation | Some strategies: walk, bike, subway, bus, share car rides
I spend a lot of time in motion. I realized a lot of it is either urgent and rushed, or automatic and mindless: getting stuck behind someone slower when I'm late, a delay-plagued subway commute, hopping between different screens and tasks at work, mindlessly scrolling through my phone, or being swept away by my racing thoughts. Can you relate? Where does this constant flurry leave us?
Today, let's hit the reset. I invite you to be still. Give your body and your mind permission to slow down. A lot. To become nothing more than a breath.
Yes, the world, the news, and the demands will remain in motion around you. We can't stop all that. Can you find a moment to be still today anyway? And I wonder, will you see life differently from this place?
Psalm 46:10 - "Be still, and know that I am God."
