Free Movie Screening

Friday, July 8, 7pm in the Hayloft

Woven from the Land: women. prairie. culture.

Teresa Konechne returned home to the prairie to make a film about the lives of farm women (and her mother) and she proceeded to explore the stories of 18 women and their connection to the land. The movie is a poetic walk through the prairie that is part journey, part analysis and part desire for the human species to (re)connect with the earth.

Meet and filmmaker and join us for a panel discussion with local farmers after the screening.

FREE.
