This meeting is all about you!

It is your night to introduce yourself and to share your story to fellow YES! members.

Inclusion Palooza
Come have fun!

Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 2 PM – 8 PM
MoonDance Amphitheater
1152 Monarch St,
Lexington, Kentucky 40513

#InclusionPalooza was first hosted in 2018, in an effort to bring people together and celebrate our differences and similarities through the power of music and advocacy. In particular, Inclusion Palooza honors individuals with disabilities and their contributions in our community, in our schools, and in our workplaces in Kentucky.

Stay tuned for our prestigious line-up of local bands, exhibitors and vendors, as well as a schedule of family-friendly activities. This year, our presenting sponsor is Life Plan of Kentucky and will be hosted by Build Inclusion and Lexington, KY Parks & Recreation.

Come on out for a full day of festival fun!

Study About The Child Welfare System and Parents With Disabilities
Conducted by the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy

Are you a parent with a disability who has been involved with the child welfare system (also known as the child protection system), or a child welfare worker or attorney who has worked with parents with disabilities and their families? If so, we want to hear about your experiences.

The Lurie Institute for Disability Policy at Brandeis University is conducting telephone interviews with parents with disabilities, as well as child welfare professionals and attorneys who work with parents with disabilities (physical, sensory, intellectual, or psychiatric). Each interview will last approximately one hour. We will not share your name or information with anyone.

To participate, you must:
•    Be 18 years of age or older;
(If you are a parent with a disability)
•    Identify as a parent with a disability; and
•    Have had involvement with the child welfare system within the past 5 years
(If you are a child welfare worker or attorney)
•    Have a minimum of 2 years working in the child welfare system;
•    Have experience working with a minimum of 3 families that included parents with disabilities within the past 5 years; and
•    Be currently working within the child welfare system
To thank you for being interviewed, we will provide a $15 gift card.
