Speaker's Digest                       September 2017
In this Issue:
  • What's New at EMS
  • Thanks, Teacher!
  • Calling an Audible

The team at EMS Communications is sending our thoughts and prayers to readers, friends, family and all those impacted this month by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria, and also the earthquakes in Mexico. Best wishes to all of you, and a big THANK YOU to everyone involved in the ongoing recovery efforts.

This month’s Speaker’s Digest takes a look at teachers—the impact they make on our children’s lives, and what we can learn from one of the best. Plus, we introduce you to this year’s Toastmasters International World Champion of Public Speaking, and show how any speaker can benefit from his example. Enjoy this month’s issue of Speaker’s Digest!

Some of our recent and upcoming engagements:

D.A. Davidson Companies. We’re looking forward to our first engagement with D.A. Davidson, working with several executives at this Denver-based financial services company.

Upcoming Open Program. Would you like to participate in a two-day training workshop with our team of coaches? We will hold an open program on October 23-24 at our training center in Northbrook, Illinois. You’ll get to learn some of the tricks of the trade, but also get to put our lessons into practice by preparing and delivering your own unique presentation. Over two days, you’ll get plenty of chances to work with peers and individually with a coach. Cost is $2000/person; please let us know if you’d like to join us!
