Carle Hospital - Curtis Clinic Expansion, Champaign, Illinois

Carle Hospital in Central Illinois is a growing regional medical facility.  Their 2017 Curtis Clinic Expansion used an array of Stevens casework and millwork: check-in/check-out stations, nurse stations, PLAM column wraps, retail desk and slatwall, kiosk dividers, wood balcony railing, elevator lobby panels and 1200 series casework.

Stevens' salesman Derek Koester won and coordinated the project.  The project architect was Eckenhoff Saunders Architects with construction management by Grunloh Construction, Inc.

Dealer Spotlight: Glen Alspaugh Company
By Patrick Gibbons

Glen Alspaugh founded the Glen Alspaugh Company in 1951 as a dealer for St. Charles Manufacturing, selling steel casework for residential and commercial markets. To this day, their residential division works on some of the most exclusive residential properties in Missouri. The residential division remains a large part of their business. The focus of their commercial division is laboratories, industrial, hospitals, K-12 schools and universities. They were an LSI dealer from 1985 until 2014. They became a Stevens Advantage dealer in August 2014. When St. Charles Manufacturing closed in 1995 they became a dealer for Kewaunee Scientific selling wood, steel, and fume hoods. Their clients appreciate the customer service that they provide and the quality products they offer. Glen Alspaugh has their own CAD operators and employ union carpenters. Everything is done in-house so they can oversee the project from start to finish. "Our partnership with Stevens has been very rewarding and we hope to continue the success for many years to come," stated Glen Alspaugh management.  The team includes:

Sales:

Jim Watt – Partner

Jeff Howard

Paul Macko

Project Management:
Bryan Willie - Partner
Bob Monolo - Partner
CAD:
Brad Perley
Nick Brown

Todd Wegman, President of Stevens Industries, comment, "Glen Alspaugh was a competitor we admired and respected for many years. When we decided to partner in 2014, we knew they brought many strengths to the relationship. One of their strengths is their steady presence in the Kansas and Missouri territories. Their multi-site offices have increased the reach of Stevens Advantage and expanded our joint success."
