TRACY AFRICAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION, LLC INVITES TRACY
HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS TO APPLY FOR ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
~ Two-tier GPA Consideration Provides Opportunity for More Students ~

TRACY, CA: Since its inception, Tracy African American Association, LLC (TAAA) has placed special emphasis on youth education, mentorship, and welfare, and geared nearly all of its fundraising events and activities to benefit its Wayne Nelson Academic Scholarship Program. The 25-year-old organization strongly encourages all African American Tracy, Mountain House, and Lammersville School District high school seniors to apply for its 2018 scholarship, while advising them to give considerable thought and consideration when supplying required application data.

Annually, TAAA awards monetary scholarships—named in honor of late TAAA member and education advocate Wayne Nelson—to enrich educational opportunities for college-bound African American students who are graduating from Tracy area high schools. To date, TAAA's cumulative scholarship grants totaled more than $128,000.

Download this year's scholarship application.

Students must submit scholarship applications and supporting documents to TAAA by Saturday, March 23, 2019. Incomplete or late application packages will not be considered.  Email completed application to
