Start Your Sunday with Worship
Join us in the Sanctuary at 8:45 or 11:15 am.

"Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds."  Pastor Clark is taking it One Day at a Time this Sunday.  Come hear his message!

Sunday's Scripture Readings:  Isaiah 49:8-16a and Matthew 6:24-34
Sunday's Message:  One Day at a Time

At 8:45 (our Contemporary Worship Service) songs of Worship include It Is You, Made to Worship, Holy Is The Lord, I Could Sing of Your Love Forever and Mighty to Save.

Sprouts our children's church program is an option for little ones.  Children begin the morning in worship with their parents, and then are dismissed to Sprouts after the Children's Moment.  Kids get a taste of the music and mystery of worship, and then a message more tailored to their understanding.  Try it!  No pre-registration required.

At 11:15 (our Traditional Worship Service) we celebrate with hymns Amazing Grace, Have Thine Own Way Lord, and O Come and Dwell in Me.  We'll hear Chanson (A Sacred Song) performed by the Bell Choir.

The Chancel Choir will perform Praise His Holy Name at both services.

This reflective service invites you to humble yourself and be honest about areas in which you have fallen short in the past year. The imposition of ashes--having the sign of the cross gently placed on your hand or forehead--is a powerful and important practice, and it prepares you to walk with Jesus all the way to the cross and into new life. You are warmly invited to participate in this time-honored and meaningful tradition!

Do you need a ride to this service?  Would you be willing to drive someone?

Please reply to this e-mail or sign up in the Parlor on Sunday!

For Ages 3 through High School...

Thank you for recycling!   If you're recycling paper at Brecksville UMC, you helped us earn over $900 for our hunger ministry in 2016. That's spectacular.  Give yourself a pat on the back!  Remember, if it's paper, don't throw it out  - - bring it to the bin! Tell your friends that recycling at Brecksville UMC earns money to fight hunger!  Thank you for recycling!

Our United Methodist Women collect pop tops for Ronald McDonald House Cleveland. Aluminum pull tabs from any container (soda pop, soup, pet food, etc.) are recycled to earn money for a fund which helps support the families that stay at RMH by providing meals and items for families, assistance in emergencies, and giving families special moments – like small gifts for children if they have a birthday while at the House. Want to help? Bring your pull tabs to the collection bin in the first floor coat room!
