The Classics Presents:
Victory for Glynn & By Jingo
No stranger to the winner's circle, Hope Glynn found herself there once again last night as she was crowned champion aboard Karen Trione's By Jingo in the $18,000 FoxFarms Hunter Derby after receiving a two-round overall average score of 87.25.  An extremely competitive class, the Derby saw 62 horses tackle Ron Beachy's technical track, with 12 returning for a handy round.  Without argument it was a fantastic evening for Hope and Sonoma Valley Stables, as well as 3rd place finisher Sami Milo and Cavallo Stables LLC's Lulavani, who was joined by other top placing riders including Jennifer Parker, Haley Stone and Tarrone Seaton in the victory gallop.
Professionals did not steal the entire spotlight however, as junior riders like Adele Bonomi (aboard her own Amazing) and Sydney Shelby (partnered with her own Galileo) enjoyed Top 12 placings, as well as high-scoring amateur rider Olivia Helllman (riding Sabrina Hellman's Woodstock).
Today we shift our focus to the equitation riders with the first rounds of the Horse & Hound Jr/Am and Pony Finals commencing at 5:00pm.
