Sukkot was filled with activities!
Hundreds of people enjoyed at least one program in the Sukkah throughout the Festival: Building the Sukkah, Pot Luck Lunch in the Sukkah, Sukkot Together Program for Young Children, Religious School in the Sukkah, New Member Dinner, Congregational Shabbat Dinner, Youth Group Sukkah Movie Night, Sukkot Scotch Tasting, Sukkah take-down - at least one activity every day of Sukkot!
Sukkot Programing Survey

Sukkot is over and it was a busy and exciting Festival.  The lulav may be a bit battered (as it is supposed to be!) and the etrog is a little bit softer than the beginning of Festival.  We would love to know what you thought of the programing so if you attended any of the many events, won't you give us your feedback?  Go to this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Sukkot2016

Hanukkah (Are we thinking about that already?)
It is a couple of months away but we wanted to encourage you to mark your calendars for December 30 for a Hanukkah dinner of fried chicken, latkes, jelly-filled donuts and salad (!) followed by a dreidel tournament.   The dinner is at 6 pm and Shabbat Hanukkah service is at 7:30.  Bring the kids.  Bring a friend.  And don't forget your menorah with candles!  Details will follow in the coming weeks.

Mishkan HaNefesh - Our new Machzor

Interested in purchasing the new machzor?

Throughout the year there will be a table in the foyer where you can buy any number of sets of the new High Holiday machzor for $50/set and help the temple reach its goal of 400 sets.  You will be able to dedicate them as you wish.  You can download the order/dedication form from this link.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the temple at 732-222-3754.
Vacation Pictures Visual Tefillah

The summer is over but the memories linger.  If you took a vacation (or even a stay-cation) and have some pictures of your travels (pictures without people but of scenery only), we invite you to share them with the congregations for our next Visual Tefillah service on December 16 at 7:30.  Please send them via Dropbox link (or a similar service) or bring in a thumb drive to the temple.  Don't forget to label the thumb drive with your name.  And mark your calendar to make a point to join us for what has proven to be a most beautiful service.
