Monday, March 5 to Sunday, March 11

Enjoy King of Prussia's own Restaurant Week when dineKOP returns with incredible prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus at restaurants all throughout the community. A portion of the proceeds is donated to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's (CHOP) King of Prussia Specialty Care Center. Also, new this year, dineKOP introduces KOP Shops for CHOP, which is a charitable day of giving for local retailers and fast-casual restaurants on Saturday, March 10. Learn more.

 

Submit Your BCA Application Today!

Applications accepted through March 15

The BCA was established in 2013 through a partnership between Upper Merion Township and the Valley Forge Casino Resort. The purpose of the BCA is to provide financial assistance to organizations via grants that benefit Upper Merion residents, and scholarships for graduating high school seniors who reside in Upper Merion Township.

Non-profit organizations and Upper Merion students are encouraged to apply for one of many possible grants that are awarded through the BCA each year.

Neighborhood Meals on Wheels

Upper Merion Neighborhood Meals on Wheels is available at a minimal fee for home bound and elderly residents who are unable to shop for or prepare meals for themselves. Friendly local volunteers deliver this service, which includes two meals a day (Monday through Friday).

19th Annual Celebration of Black History

Upper Merion Township & Friends of Black History present the 19th Annual Celebration of Black History. Join us for live music, step dance demos, soul food samples, a historical interpreter and more. There will be special activities and crafts for kids as well as vendors selling jewelry, clothing, hand crafted items and more! All are welcome.

If you haven't joined us before in the off-season, here's how it works:

 

We have a smaller group of vendors, all of whom have a way of pre-ordering. Every other Saturday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, they set up on the lower level of the parking lot behind the Township Building. You can pick up your orders, and most vendors bring a little extra to tempt you.

The Upper Merion Township Public Safety Department is a singular, unified department that encompasses the divisions of police, fire, ambulance, and emergency management services, overseen by Director Tom Nolan, who is also the current Chief of Police.

Excursion Group Trip

Thursday, February 22 

Take a ride to Oaks and hop on the tram at the American Treasures Tour, “an eclectic array of antiques and kitsch.” The cost is $12.50 per senior ($15 for younger adults). Trip Registration forms are in the lobby or on our website www.umssc.org. This is a carpool trip and will leave from the center at 10:00AM, or you can drive on your own and meet at the museum for the 10:30AM tour.

Advance Sale Tickets: $20.00 | Day of Tickets: $25.00

Doors open at 11:00AM; games start at 12:00PM. Refreshments available for purchase. No one under age 18 will be admitted. No outside food or beverage will be permitted. Registration forms are available at the Senior Center or on the website www.umssc.org. Tables for 8 can be reserved. Open to the public.

US 422 E. Ramp to Route 23 Temporarily Closed

The ramp from EB US 422 to Route 23 (Valley Forge Rd) is scheduled to be closed through late summer for construction on a new fly-over ramp. Learn more.
