Hello Carbon Fasters! Congrats on making it 3 weeks into our Carbon Fast. Only 2 more to go.
This week we will reduce our carbon footprint by making more sustainable choices about what food we buy and eat. In general, eating less meat and more locally produced food are two solid ways to start (we'll get into this with more complexity this week).
But first, did you know that Pastor Danielle is vegan and Pastor Gary has a family farm in Nebraska? In today's devotion video
, they share how they came to their own choices and perspectives about food, and go on to discuss food systems, ethics, and sustainability.
They had a lot to say. So this video is different: it's a more thoughtful, in-depth conversation lasting about 17 minutes.
