Save the Date: State of the Theater

This year our annual State of the Theater meeting will take place online.  If you haven't attended before, this is where we invite our cast, crew, volunteers and interested members of the public to find out what is going on behind the scenes at Valley Center Stage and what the we have planned for the future.

This year the meeting will take place on Thursday November 12 from 6:30-8:00 pm.  Mark your calendars!  An email with the zoom link will be sent out sometime during the week before the meeting.

A Christmas Carol 2020

VCS is planning an online version of Dickens' holiday classic, A Christmas Carol.  Details are still in the works, but we need actors, tech people, and other volunteers to help us with this new endeavor.  Please contact christmascarol@valleycenterstage.org if you would like to help us bring this project to life!

New Location: Home on the Grange?

VCS's time at our current location is drawing to a close and we have been exploring options for a new location.  We are pleased to announce that we are finalizing terms with North Bend's own Sallal Grange and expect to start moving into our new home shortly!

We need your help:  moving and preparing the space is a huge job and we need volunteers for a wide range of jobs including cleaning, dump trips, moving and more.  Email volunteers@valleycenterstage.org

Outside of VCS: Free Streaming Theatre and More!

Many theatres and other have made content available online during this time.  Here are some links to help you find some of the amazing resources that have been made available, for free, during these difficult times.

What's on Stage is a UK site that compiles a list of free online theatre.  It's a long list with some amazing resources, from Shakespeare to modern plays and musicals.

New York's Public Television Channel WNET created the website ALL ARTS which has some amazing resources hidden away, including a 2007-2008 performance of Macbeth starring Patrick Stewart.

The Kennedy Center's Digital Stage has a range of performances including music, dance, comedy and even Mo Willems Lunch Doodles, for kids.
