Convention Registration is LIVE

It's official – we're excited about Reno 2017! Are you eager to RECONNECT with fair friends and business partners? Interested in the latest industry trends? Ready to learn the tools and tips to make your company more successful? Do it all in one convenient location with the Western Fairs Convention & Trade Show, Jan. 15-18 in Reno, Nev.

Registration for a full delegate is $295

Are you a Fair Director or Staff Member only interested in attending part of the event? We have options for you, too! Take advantage of our $200 2-day special.

Hotel rooms at the Grand Sierra Resort are available for RECONNECT Reno 2017! We've been able to secure a great room rate of just $69 per night. The rate is valid for reserved nights beginning Jan. 12 all the way through Jan. 22. Registration for our special room block closes Dec. 28!

It has come to our attention that members are being reached out to by companies to book hotel rooms for Convention. These are a scam and are in no way affiliated with WFA. In order to secure your room through WFA, use the above link.

Ready to Rock?
Visit the Convention Website for the 2017 Programming Schedule!

The WFA RECONNECT 2017 Convention Website is up and running with further details on programming and optional ticketed events.

There, you'll learn more information about our great speakers including Opening Keynote and breakout session leader Jim Knight (left, who brought down the house as our closing keynote last year), and Elisa Hayes, who faced hardship and injury and came back stronger than ever!

Preview programming descriptions on the website. We're bringing back several popular sessions – such as the YPI-presented Generational Differences panel – and new hot-button topics including a whole-room addressing the impact of Marijuana Legalization, a presentation by the Minnesota State Fair on its unique concessions model, and more! Educational topics will speak to a wide range of concerns and interests, applicable to fair management, board members, staff, and service members!
Important Deadlines: Showcase & Award Applications
WFA Hall of Fame, Barham Award, and More

The Western Fairs Association Convention & Trade Show will provide an opportunity to RECONNECT in Reno, Jan. 15-18. Along with fun activities, stimulating educational programs, and rockin' entertainment, there are several opportunities to get involved:

From videos to full band performances and everything in between, our members have juggled, roped, serenaded and tumbled their way through routines and concerts in front of fair decision-makers throughout the years. The Showcase is always a Convention highlight, and we expect 2017 to be no different.
