Help Sort Donations for Puerto Rico
October 10th-20th 9:00am-5:00pm

The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is working with National VOAD members (Voluntarty Organizations Active in Disaster) and ACS Disaster Services, to support Puerto Rico after the devastation of Hurricane Maria. As part of this response, they are sorting and packing donations to be shipped to Puerto Rico, or to assist those who may relocate to MA. Work will consist of sorting boxes, packing and moving donations.  The warehouse is in need of volunteers from 9am-5pm each weekday Oct 10-Oct 20, but volunteer hours are flexible within that time frame. If you need to arrive late or leave early, that is fine. The warehouse is located in Worcester, and a shuttle will be provided from Worcester Union Station to the warehouse, and back. Volunteers are encouraged to take the MBTA Commuter Rail from South Station to Union Station. Shuttle service will be available for specific train times.
