People are pooped. Animals are panting. Plants are wilting. Everybody is thirsty.
Actually, we've got it good. The drought is officially over so glorious Summer for this City of Angeles has been mild and forgiving. We Angelinos (demi-angels of a sort) live with this sweetness most of the year and we have so much to appreciate and more to be grateful for.
Though our compatriots in Houston aren't faring as well, due to Harvey's thousand-year floods, there's been a huge outpouring of good Samaritan benevolence.
We are called upon to be Samaritan Angels today and I hope to motivate our beloved SWERVE community in kind. All of my instructor pay for the month of September will go to The American Red Cross and if you take any of my classes this month, your class fees will contribute. Of course you can donate on your own as well. Just click here.
Let's do this!
