National Farmer's Market Week
To support a nationwide initiative, Governor Charlie Baker has declared August 2 - 8, Massachusetts Farmers’ Market Week.  A wonderful reminder to enjoy the delicious food and farm products available from our local farms (hey, that's us!) and farmers’ markets, and to recognize the contributions farmers and farmer's markets make to the local economy.  These markets increase access to healthy food in communities across the Commonwealth. Check out Sustainable Nantucket's Farmers and Artisan's Market, this weekend, which brings together a diverse cross section of the Island's makers, beekeepers, artists, weavers, jewelers, woodworkers, potters and small growers.
Our Cherry Tomatoes are in the house! -A new variety developed by Johnny's Select and trialed by participating farms
(we helped!),  'Citrine' is wowing our customers and staff so far! Harvests are still intermittent, so when you see them in the Market, snap them up!
Keeping with the Farmer's Market theme...
Using their most popular “Farmer’s Market” fabric (uncoated, of course), Z Wraps, made in Easthampton, MA makes one of the most comfortable face masks we sell. The head and neck ties provide a customizable fit and the fabric is soft and breathable. Find them featured
on our To Go site.
Celebrate the Pops &
Honor Our Local Heroes
Join the Nantucket Cottage Hospital in its 24th year in spirit and celebration on Saturday, August 8th at 7 pm for a free celebratory broadcast of the Boston Pops for Nantucket.

"The program will feature previous musical performances by the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra as well as a newly created virtual piece and a pre-recorded fireworks display. The 45-minute show will also feature Nantucket musicians as well as special video messages honoring the heroes among us. At 7:45 p.m., we ask everyone to step outside wherever you may be and 'Clap for the Carers'.
Click here to donate and support our local hospital and its incredible team of caregivers!"
Just because the Pops are virtual, doesn't mean you have to skip a fantastic beach picnic. Our Catering department is ready to take you order! Check out their options below!
Footloose and Glass-Free!
You don't have to be a beer drinker to skip the glass container... When toting drinks to the beach, glass bottles can be just plain heavy, and oh, did you remember the corkscrew? Skip the whole ordeal and go canned instead!
Bluet Wild Maine Blueberry Sparkling Wine- We discovered these not very long ago, and boy are we glad we did! One pound of Maine blues go into each can, which is also the only ingredient you will find in this crisp, dry and refreshing wine. Enjoy as is, or pour over ice with a lemon peel and some fresh cut herbs from the garden...
Old Westminster Raw Rosé- This yummy canned rosé is a blend of Maryland-grown Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chambourcin, and Petit Verdot. Characterized by vibrant aromas of cherry, rhubarb, watermelon and rose petals, pleasantly soft texture and zippy acidity. Pair this wine with barbecued ribs, lobster rolls, pan seared scallops, or simply enjoy it on the beach!
A perennial favorite here at Bartlett's, Bridge Lane Rosé box is made from 100% sustainably grown grapes on Long Island. Bright melon, strawberry and citrus with refreshingly crisp acidity and minerality. This box fits four bottles worth inside one portable package, perfect for a small gathering.
We get lots and lots of requests for spirit-based canned cocktails (we would if we could BUT we only have a beer and wine license!). Our answer is Capeline Sparkling Cocktails- Flavors like Margarita, Strawberry Lemonade, & Blackberry Mojito, are deliciously light sparkling summer cocktails with 75% less calories than classic spirit-based cocktails. More 'sessionable' with lower ABV, sweetness and a delightfully delicate effervescence.
New Product Spotlight
Ralston Family Farms American-Grown Rice
It's unusual to find an American farm that's been farming for longer than the Bartlett's but the Ralston family has been farming for 10 generations! Their farm and mill are located on the same land in Arkansas where they also cultivate wheat, non-GMO corn, soybeans and raise cattle.
From the Ralstons- 'Our family farm is big enough to feed the country, but not so big it can't be managed by the family. Every decision is made with the big picture in mind- a food safety and quality culture that enhances the life of our customers and gives back to the environment.'
