ProAct Safety Affected by Flooding

The Houston area, home to ProAct Safety, has been devastated by Hurricane Harvey.  One of our principals’ homes was flooded and his family safely evacuated. We urge our subscribers to help in any way they can toward relief and recovery efforts.
Ways You Can Help​​​​​​​
  • Donate to Feeding Texas, a network of food banks across the state.
  • Make a cash or diaper donation to the Texas Diaper Bank, which is providing emergency diaper kits to displaced families.
  • The State of Texas Agriculture Relief fund (STAR fund) is collecting private dollars to help Texas farmers and ranchers recover from Hurricane Harvey.
  • Help teachers in affected school districts rebuild their classrooms.
  • The SPCA of Texas is accepting financial donations and in-kind donations, including cat litter, litter boxes, towels, blankets, large wire crates, toys, treats, pet beds, newspaper and gas gift cards.
  • You can help Hurricane Harvey victims by texting HARVEY to 90999 to give $10 to the Red Cross.
  • The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, established by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, is also accepting donations for flood victims.
  • United Way of Greater Houston Flood Relief Fund will help with recovery needs of those most impacted. Visit their site or text UWFLOOD to 41444 to donate.
  • To make a financial donation to The Salvation Army, visit their site, call 1.800.SAL ARMY, or text STORM to 51555.
