Join Us for National Travel & Tourism Week (May 7-13)
unique upscale vintage-inspired indoor market featuring vintage inspired home décor, original art, antiques, jewelry, handmade treasures, clothing, outdoor furnishings, architectural salvage, repurposed, and more. Unique vendors, live music, and food!  10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. $10 ticket Friday provides entrance all three days. Celebration (Saturday)
Enjoy a mini music festival to celebrate TUPPS' second anniversary with music throughout the day, food trucks onsite, and 20 different beers on tap! Ages 21 and up.
Two ticket options available: $45 provides early entry access to the newest and limited beers on tap, a tasting card (pick 8 pours of your choice, each pour is 8 ounces), TUPPS t-shirt, and a souvenir glass; and the $25 general admission with entry at 1 p.m. which includes a tasting card (pick 8 pours of your choice, each pour is 8 ounces) and a souvenir glass.

Special Farmers Market at Sunset with musical guests Will and Crystal Yates. Vendors from the Farmers Market will sell ready to eat foods and beverages. Bring your friends and family to this unique event. Proceeds benefit the Dulaney House restoration. 5-7 p.m. General admission is $20; tickets are available online. 315 S. Chestnut at Chestnut Square Historic Village.
Jim has been creating art for galleries and private collectors since 1987. He lives in McKinney and exhibits in McKinney, Dallas and Fredericksburg. Friday, 5-8 p.m.; Saturday, 5-9 p.m.; and Sunday, 2-4 p.m. At The Cove, 402 N. Tennessee Free.

Nature Story Time (Friday)
Story times are designed for young children, introducing a different nature-themed book each week. 30-45 minutes depending on the book.
Included in general admission; free for Heard Members. 10:30 a.m.

Night Hike: Explore the thrilling sights, smells, and sounds of night with Heard Trail Guides. Night hikers will be encouraged to sharpen their senses to be able to spot signs of animal life and learn more about the inhabitants of the Heard. Preregistration is required for all night hikes. 8-9 p.m. Included in cost of admission to museum.
Odysseus N. Texas Chamber Orchestra: Beethoven Symphony No.5 (Saturday)
McKinney's very own multi-award winning orchestra finishes off the season with the resounding and glorious Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven and Schumann's Cello Concerto in A Minor in which the orchestra will be joined by rising star Russell Houston on cello. 8-9:30 p.m. $18 adult, $14 seniors and students. General admission at McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee.

World War I Exhibit: Honoring the Collin County residents who served 100 years ago. IPads provide interactive experience. At the Collin County Historical Society Museum, 300 E. Virginia. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free admission.

Franconia Brewery Tour & Tastings: $5. 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at 495 McKinney Pkwy.

Run Baby Run: Hope Women’s Center is hosting its 3rd annual 10K/5K/1 Mile/Fun Run at Cockrill Middle School (Hardin at White). On-site registration and packet pickup at 6:45 a.m.. fun run at 7:45 a.m., 1-K and 5K at 8:15 a.m. Online registration is open until Friday at 11:59 p.m.

Cultural Music Series: The first in this 2017 series features the music and fun of a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. Free admission. 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Old Settlers recreation Center, 1201 E. Louisiana.

Community Garage Sale & Craft Fair: Also at Old Settlers Recreation Center. 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Order 66 Toys at 111 S. Chestnut is hosting a Star Wars Weekend, starting with Star Wars Day (Friday, May 4). Special Star Wars appearance and autographs on Saturday and Sunday!
