This week in

The making of CROSS & Switchblade ARABIC edition
It was a tremendous time of ministry in Lebanon with Garo Margossian and the Teen Challenge Lebanon outreach teams. From tenements and squats of the l'Gharib Ghetto, to the Syrian Refugee Camps of the Bekaa Valley, we sang, ministered and prayed. God moved in a special way. A highlight of the week was the Pastors' Conference climaxing at Kingdom Fiesta. There were teams from 26 nations, Africa, Philippines, across the Middle East, Nigerian Choirs, Armenian Dancers, Syrian Singers and most of all, the guest of honor, Jesus. People met Jesus every night.

BEIRUT: Believing for Miracles

At sunset, standing on the roof of ABTS, we looked across the rooftops of Beirut to intercede for the city. As darkness falls on Beirut, hope is rising for 1.5 million Syrian, Palestinian, and Iraqi refugees seeking shelter in Lebanon as the Good News is proclaimed.
With rampant hopelessness and the insidious shadow of escalating addiction, the need for Teen Challenge in Lebanon grows by the day.
Hope Rises in the Tenements of l' Garibe

Her eyes tell a story that words can never truly express. She is one of the silent victims of the ravages of extremism, terrorism and civil war. Ripped from her home in the middle of the night, taken from family, community and friends, she finds herself a refugee in a strange country. She is part of just one of many families we ministered to. Like hundreds of thousands of other children, she desperately needs hope. She watched curiously as we prayed We left a solar-powered Scripture "God Pod" with an Arabic Bible and teaching from ICM.

For their security, I cannot share details or location. As we entered, Asheem shared, mama is paralyzed and papa had lost his leg and has a dangerous infection, Victims of conflict and tremendous tragedy, we prayed, believed for a miracle and shared the Love of Jesus.

Suddenly, Mama struggled to pull herself up and kissed my hand. She looked in my eyes and said in Arabic, "I want to be saved."

Cathy, with our interpreter & guide, Maral, led her in prayer. As the presence of God filled the room, she again pulled herself up to kiss Cathy's hand. Pray her miracle continues, not only sit, but to stand and walk.

The noise of hammers, machinery, and workers fill the air at the Teen Challenge construction site in the rural mountains outside Beirut. Those sounds were joined by the voices of architects, along with 35 partners and key leaders for a delightful (and delicious) barbecue gathering. After reviewing the plans, Garo shared his vision, we ate and had a powerful time of prayer and intercession for TC.

I shared from the Word and reminded the team that as they are building Block B of Teen Challenge Lebanon, we need to be building the evangelism and ministry team that will fill it. Just as the re-bar and cement are the foundation of this amazing structure, so prayer and God's Word are the foundation for changed lives in the building. They are trusting God for finances for the continuing construction on a daily basis.

Please click the link on the left for a 2 minute time lapse view-2017 to 2018 as this engineering marvel rises up the side of this mountain.

We are excited to see the center rising before our eyes. Will you stand with us in prayer for their miracle, to make this center a reality in Beirut, Lebanon and a pioneer strategic base of operations to reach from Jordan to Syria, to Kuwait, Iraq and the Arab community across Europe.

God is opening exciting doors for the Good News in this historic moment of time. Please pray as they are believing for God to provide the finances to keep their workers going! If you would like to be a part, they need YOU, Make your tax deductible donation by clicking this link TODAY.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. ~~ Isaiah 53:4,5

In place of E-votion, I made this video. A Physician Looks at the Crucifixion by Dr. C Truman Davis is a powerful view of the physical and anatomical aspects of the passion and death of our Lord. What did the body of Jesus actually endure in the night and day leading up to Good Friday and those 6 hours of torture on the Cross.

A life conceived from eternity and revealed in a peasant hovel erupted in a crescendo of sacrifice. All of human history was transformed during those six hours of unimaginable pain and torment. Not weighed by the measure of human suffering as great high priest, there was eternity in His commitment to the cross as humanity clings to the promise of resurrection.

We have tried to eliminate guilt by normalizing sin. We have tried to excuse wickedness by redefining the absolutes of God’s Word with empty platitudes and a mantra of tolerance. ┬áSin is not normal, and guilt is the evidence of our broken connection with God.

Good Friday is a graphic reminder that sin is so devastating that God sent His only Son to the cross to die for us to break the power of sin. In an hour and time when our churches are filled with more pastoral pep talk than preaching the Word and more empty affirmation and excuses for failure than preaching on sin, the cross is a stark reminder of the cost of our freedom. Make time to remember His gift! He did not forget -He made our need His sacrifice- Reconciled.

Thank you for being a part of Prayer and Fasting with Teen Challenge as we celebrate 60 years of ministry. If God did a special miracle-please let us know. Send your testimony to us, bernstuff@aol.com

The Cross and the Switchblade is the best selling international adventure of all time -16 million copies in 30 languages. Come with us to an anonymous print shop in a back alley in Lebanon, where the 3rd edition of the Arabic language edition has gone from production to printing. Slated for distribution in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq, I have personally seen its impact in the Syrian refugee camps. The third printing has also been requested by Netherlands TC to go to Syrian, Palestinian and Iraqi refugees in camps across Europe. Pray for God to touch lives.

Reaching Addicts

In the camps, homes, ghettos and communities, we encountered men struggling with addiction. In some cases, “harm reduction” medications have become the addiction of choice. One thing we often miss as considering treatment versus harm reduction is that the first word is still “harm.” We prayed with this young man. With Maral and the help of a local church, he had still not mainlined any drugs. Still, he desperately needs the TC program to sustain his miracle. He has asked us to please pray. As we pray and TC Lebanon builds let us believe God for a base of supernatural deliverance in the Middle East.

2017 was a year of miracles. You could not join us in the Syrian Refugee Camps, the South Sudanese camps, Rwanda, Madagascar (over 40,000 first-time confessions of Christ), hurricane relief or missions on 5 continents, BUT you were with us in prayer, partnership & giving.

I didn't want to leave this E-ntercession with Good Friday's agony. This is a Resurrection song God gave to me. I pray this fresh look at Resurrection morning will be a blessing to you.

The Stone was Dancin' -- It didn't just roll away

At Teen Challenge we celebrate resurrection 365 days of the year This is an Easter video gift to you in honor of His gift to us.

Again I say
unto you,
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done
for them of
my Father which is in heaven.

Teen Challenge Rwanda met with The Ministry of Youth in Kigali. They have worked out a plan for 3 TC students and a staff to visit the universities of Rwanda each week share their testimony and discuss Christ Centered treatment. We are so excited God is opening to reach all. Pastor Willy and his team engage this as well as preparing for the upcoming MISSION SOS Capital Cities Festival in July.

2) GTC Columbus, Georgia

Following an amazing meeting with leaders from around the world, at Global Teen Challenge World Headquarters, please pray that the Holy Spirit empowers us with strategies and gifting to bring that vision to pass.

Dr. Nance delivered a clear vision of the opportunities before us. Global Teen Challenge must move from vision to engagement to obey our prophetic mandate to mobilize resources worldwide and serve the growing Teen Challenge community in 125 nations.

3) Johannesburg, South Africa April 16-23

It was wonderful to be with Dr. Jacobus Nomdoe, the Global Teen Challenge Africa Regional Director In Columbus and we are truly excited about the upcoming all Africa leadership intensive and fresh. Please pray for God's provision as leaders are coming from across the continent and for a fresh view how we can bring the claims of the gospel to bear on Africa.

4) MISSION SOS- Global Teen Challenge partnership.

We are so excited about the upcoming MISSION SOS outreaches in Malawi (June) and in Rwanda (July) The Africa Capitol Cities Tour continues to engage nation's capitols of the continent speaking truth to power and hope to those seeking answers through Jesus Christ. The ministry of Rev Johannes Amritzer transcends religious differences and brings a unique message of hope through Jesus Christ. We are helping to engage with SOS kids as well as SOS AID which is bringing medical care and people in need.

Pray with us for the global advance of the gospel. Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 120 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in over 32 new nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT. We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet PRACTICAL needs.
MATTHEW 9: 37 Then He said to His disciples,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send
out workers into His harvest.”
