Open Your Life to Jasmine.

Meet Jasmine. She is 11 years old, soon to be 12,  and has big brown expressive eyes. Jasmine is a great defender of her peers and she loves to negotiate on behalf of herself and others. She enjoys making crafts and is very creative. She is an inquisitive child and is good at using her imagination to create scenarios. Some of her favorite things are horses, swimming and ice cream.
Jasmine understands what a family is and she would very much like to be part of a family who loves her and will keep her safe. She thrives on being assured she is in a safe home and the people around her will protect her. Jasmine’s worker feels she will be the most successful in a home with only girls and where she can be the oldest child.

Meet Kylee, FrameWorks’ Community Liaison
Nonfamily Adoption Tax Credit

I began working for Mission WV’s FrameWorks program in March 2017. As the Community Liaison, I seek opportunities to give presentations on the topic of foster/adoptive parent recruitment and engage groups to be partners of our cause.

I am so excited to join the Frameworks staff and spread awareness about foster care and adoption. There is an urgent need for more families to open their homes to these children and provide a safe and loving place for them to stay. I hope by being the Community Liaison for Mission WV, I can help one child at a time by finding families for children in foster care.

We are working to create more awareness about the foster care system and how people can get involved to make a difference in the lives of children placed in foster care.

Are you a part of a group that often invites speakers to your meetings? I'd love to join you. Examples of great speaking opportunities include:
 • Civic Groups
 • Parent Teacher Associations
 • Church Congregations
 • Women’s Groups
 • Workplace Staff Meetings
 • City Council Meetings
 • Athletic Clubs
 • Foundations
 • Charity Organizations
 • Foster Family Support Groups

If you would like Kylee to speak to a group you are a part of, please email her at or call 866-CALL-MWV.

Upcoming Events!

May is National Foster Care Month, join us as we celebrate!

529 Run/Walk

What: The SMART 5.29K Run/Walk raises money for SMART529 College Savings Plan scholarships for children adopted out of the foster care system in West Virginia. National statistics show less than 3 percent of kids who grow up in the foster care system go on to obtain a college degree. When a child from foster care is adopted into a loving family, his/her fresh start can also include a brighter future through higher education.

All proceeds from the 5.29K registration, minus a $3.00 race fee, will be deposited into SMART529 College Savings Accounts. The accounts will be awarded through a selection process administered by Frameworks and Mission West Virginia. The registration fee is $35 the day of the event and $30 online until May 17th.
