Don't forget that GRRAND has a convenient “Wish List” of items routinely needed at the kennel that directly help GRRAND dogs and those who care for them.
GRRAND is particularly looking for the grooming items for the new kennel.
You can find GRRAND’s wish list on Amazon. It’s simple and easy, and Amazon will send the items right to GRRAND so donors do not have to bring them in or send the supplies themselves. Put your Prime membership to good use and help make a difference for GRRAND dogs awaiting placement in a foster home.

Simply go to Amazon.com and select Lists, then Find a List or Registry. Search for GRRAND to view the wish list of much-needed items. When you are ready to checkout, just select GRRAND’s Gift Registry address to make sure the items are shipped to GRRAND.

URGENT FOSTER

HOMES WANTED

GRRAND is looking for a temporary foster for two puppies that have been diagnosed with Parvo. They are 4 months old and have been in isolation at the vet office for the past few days receiving around the clock treatment.

Parvo is highly contagious and is spread from dog to dog by direct or indirect contact with their feces. Symptoms may include lethargy, vomiting, fever, and diarrhea (usually bloody), causing severe dehydration. Vaccines can prevent this infection, but mortality can reach 91% in untreated cases. Treatment often involves veterinary hospitalization where IV fluids and antibiotics can be administered while under observation.

Please contact our foster coordinator, Linda George if you are interested in fostering these pups: lrr60681@gmail.com

GRRAND will also be setting up a critical care donation page for these puppies plus their two litter mates on our website to help assist with ongoing medical bills.

Oakley has been placed with a local trainer Grrand has just partnered with, John Imler with Top Dog Training. John has worked with the most severely abused dogs from Arrow Fund and we are excited to have his support for Grrand. Oakley will complete a basic 3 week training course where he will live with John and his family while learning basic commands/manners.

He is a large lab mix, male around 7 years of age that gets along with other dogs and cats. When we rescued him he was emaciated and required surgery to remove a large cancerous tumor. Oakley was also positive for heart worm and recently finished treatment this past December. Due to all of his health issues, Grrand has just recently been able to put him up for adoption after having him in foster for almost a year. Poor guy has been through a lot this past year and we are eager to find him a loving home.
