Broadcast your participation in American Flowers week to media outlets in your community.
We've written an easy-to-personalize press release that you can adapt and insert your logo, business information, special details and contact info.
Why not drop this off at the local TV station's morning show (along with a bouquet of your local flowers, of course?)
Or deliver to the features desk of your hometown newspaper or lifestyle magazine?
We wanted to make it easy for you to attract media attention -- so start with the press release sample written by Daniele Strawn of Chica Bloom Farm.
Follow her format and your press release will write itself!

How One Designer is getting ready for American Flowers Week
Knowing that American Flowers Week is set for June 28th to July 4th, Andrea Grist of Andrea K. Grist Floral Designs got super creative to plan a media appearance and a workshop to promote Kansas- and Missouri-grown flowers.
We’re so impressed with this idea, we wanted to share it with you!
Behind the Scenes with Susan McLeary's "Floral Fro"

We’ve had so much enthusiastic response to our beautiful, fashionable “Flower ‘Fro” featured in the 2016 American Flowers Week graphics, so it’s time to give you the back story of designer Susan McLeary.
She says: "I started with Rice Flowers. They’re nice and light, but they added further structure and more body to her hair. Then I layered on everything else and wove stems to balance on top of the crown."
What motivates Susan?
"When you use local and seasonal flowers, it gives your work a 'soul,' and I believe you’re part of something special and not just anything that could be designed anywhere.' -- Susan McLeary of Passionflower Events

Our Sponsors are Getting Involved!

We're so excited that our sponsors and several retailers are putting their own twist on American Flowers Week.
Here's how Mayesh Wholesale has turned our graphic into signage for their branches!
