Thank you for opening this special issue of OnDeck.
We are asking for your help!

In the wake of the disastrous flooding, 100,000 Pakistani children are in danger of dying in the next six months, according to UNICEF.

Can we ignore a potential tragedy of this magnitude?

CoachDeck has partnered with UNICEF to raise awareness about and money for the disaster-stricken children in both Pakistan and Haiti.

But we need your help.

Our two newsletters go out to over 10,000 youth sports organizations in the United States. We are asking you to alert the parents in your league to our joint-venture with UNICEF by emailing them the link below, posting it on your organization's website, or both.

If every league receiving this message raised even $100.00, think what an impact we could have.

In this month's issue:
Dan Gazaway unlocks the mystery of a pitcher's stride length. And, resident nutritionist Jodi Sheakley breaks down the most effective snacks for kids before, during and after competition. Finally, as usual, we ask that you check out our sponsors who make OnDeck possible.

Please enjoy this issue, and thank you for all you do for your community.

Brian Gotta3 Simple Steps to Save 100,000 Lives
By Brian Gotta, President of CoachDeck

We've all been hit by economic hard times. But our lives are fairy-tales compared to the disaster victims in Haiti and Pakistan. And nothing is more tragic than seeing the effects of disasters on suffering, innocent children - children who would love to have the "problems," our kids have. That's why when we heard the UNICEF report that over 100,000 children in Pakistan may die of starvation in the next six months, we immediately asked ourselves what we could do. And that's what made us think of you. Read Article
