Phil Keaggy in Concert

Phil Keaggy is perhaps one of the most admired guitarists in music today. His fans range from those who aspire just to be able to play Keaggy’s mistakes, to professional musicians who have been strongly influenced by his style. Phil will be doing a special solo performance, with a mix of both acoustic and electric playing. Special guests will be Maylee Thomas and friends. VIP tables have seating for four for $250 each. A small quantity of Individual seats on the upstairs balcony will be available for $40 each (seating is first come, first serve). Food and Bar service will be available. MPAC Presents: Goitse in Concert

Goitse (Go-wit-cha) is an Informal Gaelic Irish Greeting Meaning ‘Come Here.' The popular and multi-award-winning quintet Goitse was forged in the white-hot creative crucible of Limerick’s Irish World Academy. Named Live Ireland’s “Traditional Group of the Year”, Chicago Irish American News’ “Group of the Year”, as well as winning the prestigious “Freiburger International Leiter 2016” award in Germany, Goitse has become a leader of the new generation of traditional Irish ensembles. Four Funny Females "She-Larious Comedy Tour"

Four of the funniest ladies in McKinney will provide the humor so you can "Laugh Your SPANX" Off. Dallas' only award-winning, all-female stand-up comedy show has consistently been one of the McKinney Performing Arts Centers' most popular and requested programs. It's more than a hilarious stand-up comedy show - it's a sisterhood on a mission to get women laughing again ... and men are welcome, too, of course! Rated PG13 for adult innuendo and observational comedy. Tickets available online.

Integrity: A Chain Reaction Show

Curated by KD Hafley, this second Chain Reaction Show brings together five artists whose collaborative works address the theme of integrity: Kiki Curry Winters, KD Hafley, Sam Rogers, Charles Esser, and Elsie Porter. Second Saturday Bird Walk
Saturday | 8-9:30 a.m.
These guided bird walks last 1.5 hours, with optional extended time if some participants are interested. If you come a few minutes late, the group may have already started their walk so it is important to be on time. These bird walks are intended to help beginning and intermediate birders with bird spotting and identification techniques. Prairie, woodland, and wetland habitats are included in these walks.

Owl Prowl Night Hike
Saturday | 6-8 p.m. | $16-19
Bring your family to see a live owl presentation and then stay for a guided night hike on our sanctuary trails. Explore the thrilling sights, smells, and sounds of night with Heard Trail Guides. Night hikers will be encouraged to sharpen their senses to be able to spot signs of animal life and learn more about the inhabitants of the Heard. Pre-registration is required - $16 for Heard members, $19 for non-members.

Fasten your seat belts and travel back in time to focus on McKinney, Texas...Then and Now. Various types of audio/visual aids will be available, including introducing augmented reality. History has never been so fascinating! This exhibit continues into 2020. 300 E. Virginia.

"Resilience: Strength, Healing & Overcoming Adversity" Exhibit Opening Reception
Thursday | 6-8 p.m. | VALA Gallery in the Cotton Mill | Free
One of the best kept secrets around is the progressive new VALA GALLERY, housed within the ever evolving Cotton Mill of McKinney that is curated by The Visual Arts League of Allen. Stop by in March for the RESILIENCE Art Exhibit featuring art that explores strength, healing and overcoming adversity. The show will run March 7-31. This opening reception will include wine and lite refreshments. Free.

Crawfish Boil on the Rue
Saturday | 3-7 p.m. | Trinity Falls | $1 admission
(Rescheduled from last weekend due to bad weather.) Bourbon Street returns to Trinity Falls with crawfish and family fun. The Mardi Gras-themed event takes place at 7801 Trinity Falls Parkway where event-goers will enjoy pedi-cab tours of B.B. Owen Park, street performers, balloon artists, stilt walkers, a bounce house, a photo bus, food trucks and more. Live music sets the mood and a variety of food trucks will have Cajun/Creole and child-friendly items for purchase. Adults can relax in the beer and wine garden.

St. Patty's Day Cooking Class

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day a bit early ... with food! This holiday is always a great excuse to eat and drink. Appetizers and a green Dublin beverage will be served starting at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., cooking begins on the menu that includes Beer and Guinness Stew, Colcannon, Dublin Coddle, Cork County Soda Bread and Irish Cream Bundt Cake. BYOB and as always, receive 10% of any purchases the night of the class.
