New Connections Group
I am the Director for Connections (assimilation) at Good News Community Church and I have recently started connecting with a group of other similar leaders from other churches.
I have attended one meeting in June with these great leaders and when I left the meeting I was excited, full of new ideas, had some new resources, answers to my questions, and new friends to lean on -
The Connections Group is a motley crew of volunteer, part-time, and full-time leaders, all who do stuff like assimilation of new folks, connections, follow-up, small groups, community groups, and stuff like that.
If you've got a key leader(s) like that at your church, they're invited too... I would encourage them to go...
We're hosting the next one here at Good News on Wednesday August 21st, 10am to 11:30.
Please RSVP to DeAnna Doe at D.Doe@GoodNewsChurch.org
I hope to see you there!
Leadership As A Team Sport
September 18, 2019 - 10:00 am to 2 pm
Presenter - Pastor Matthew Fite
Leading a church can be a difficult and lonely endeavor, but it doesn't have to be. Ministry was never meant to be a solo-sport. When a church's ministry leaders are all working together as a team, the weight on everyone's shoulders becomes lighter, individuals find real joy as they serve, and the church becomes more effective at the Great Commission. Get the tools you need to build, love, and lead your team.

   -Define your leadership team.
   -Recruit and empower volunteer leaders.
   -Leverage part-time paid staff.
-Open up the communication between all of team members.
-Help everyone get to know, care about, and understand each other.
-Keep the entire team working together.

Hosted at Good News Church, 5511 W 136th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020, and sponsored by RMCN. Register today.
