The WFA Hall of Fame award honors distinguished achievement
or outstanding contribution by an individual to the fair industry.
Selection of the recipients is made solely by the WFA Board of Governors,
and although they are not required to select a recipient each year,
this year we are proud to recognize two industry leaders.

Meet your 2017 WFA Hall of Fame inductees
Randy Hatfield Del Norte County Fair CEO
Past WFA President, past CFA board member, and 27-year CEO of the Merrill Award-winning Del Norte County Fair, Randy Hatfield continues to serve not only as a leader at his home fair, but as a role model and pioneer for the industry as a whole. In 2014, Randy's efforts to collaborate with community leaders led to a two-thirds majority vote passing 'Measure F': a county-wide 0.25% sales tax increase designed to provide funding to the fair.
Jon Baker Pima County Fair Executive Director
Also a past WFA President, Jon Baker has held the position of Executive Director of the Southwestern Fair Commission dba the Pima County Fair for the past 16 years. Jon began his career in 1987 as the Parks and Recreation Director, Fair and Horse Racing Manager for Coconino County based in his hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona. After 10 years with Coconino County, Jon worked for the Arizona State Fair before moving on to the Pima County Fair. Jon is married to Lisa and has a daughter Katelyn and a late son Jordan.

Funding the WFA internship program and educational keynotes at Convention, the Blue Ribbon Foundation provides the future of our industry an opportunity to get involved and allows us to benefit from professional speakers like Jim Knight and Elisa Hays. Please consider donating either items or your expertise to be auctioned off at Convention, as the Live & Slient Auctions are the Foundation's most important fundraisers each year. All donations can be written off your taxes for their fair market value.

You can fill in the Auction Donation form Online
