RAD Collaborative Regional Convening
Columbus, OH—July 16-17, 2018
You really don’t want to miss our Summer 2018 RAD Collaborative Convening in Columbus. It will be an early chance to learn first-hand about HUD’s soon-to-be-issued guidance on RAD’s new authorities directly from HUD officials and experienced practitioners.
We now anticipate the guidance will be fully-published on Monday, July 1 with lots of helpful information about RAD rents, using agency vouchers and Section 18 TPVs with RAD PBVs, and other new approaches in extending RAD’s reach. So look for a RADblast! when the guidance is posted—and join other practitioners in Columbus in discussing how to best apply these new tools to public housing redevelopment.
Columbus Convening participants will also learn what to expect ahead as HUD develops a forthcoming notice on how to convert Section 202 PRAC properties under RAD. Plus, industry leaders will share insights into the state of the market with LIHTCs, Opportunity Zones, FHA financing and other evolving tools being used with RAD.
The primary Convening day will be July 17, 2018 at the Marriott Columbus University Area, 3100 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43202 from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
A pre-convening session will be July 16, 2018 at Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, 880 E 11th Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43211 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. CMHA will host a tour & discussion of its RAD implementation efforts at its offices.
