Trivia Night

Teams of 8 battle it out to see who, collectively, has the most smarts and wins the highly sought-after swag and the title of Smarty Pants. This fun evening of food, entertainment and trivia benefits MISD students.This event sold out last year. Dinner is provided, along with two beer tickets and a guaranteed good time! An Evening with the Artists of Empty Bowls
Friday-Saturday | 6:30-9:30 p.m. | The Cove, 402 N. Tennessee |  FREE

The Collector Club Bowls are a collaboration between potters and artists. The bowls as well as artists will be showcased at the Cove for an early viewing prior to McKinney Empty Bowls 2019. In addition, the professional artisan bowls submitted for the juried online auction will be on display. (Empty Bowls McKinney 2019 will be held May 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. This is an annual event where volunteers, artists, chefs, and guests come together to combat hunger in Collin County.)

In the competitive jungle of today’s music scene, The Janoska Ensemble has achieved the feat of forging their specific style into their own brand and thus into a genre concept. Cultural Music Series - Slugger's Rule

Fossil Tortoises
Ongoing
Referred to as “Tootsie” and “Peanut,” these 34-million- year-old tortoise fossils are Stylemys nebrascensis. This species is similar in some ways to modern tortoises, but it lacked foreleg musculature for digging tunnels. 

Magic Planet-oids:

The whole family will enjoy this short, kid-friendly presentation called "Magic Planet-oids." These are offered on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and on Sundays at 1:30 p.m.

An Evening with Mimi Fox and Andy Timmons

The Guitar Sanctuary presents a special evening of Virtuoso Guitar with Mimi Fox and Andy Timmons. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m. VIP tables with seating for four directly in front of the stage, $150 per table; downstairs seats (first come, first served), $25; and general admission (standing room only on the main floor and balcony), $10. Standard bar and food service available.

Adriatica Village Wine Walk

Stroll through beautiful Adriatica with family or friends, tasting delectable wines at various village businesses. At check-in, each person receives a keepsake wine glass, a wine walk map, and three tokens to redeem for glasses of wine at participating wine walk restaurants.
