Don't forget that GRRAND has a convenient “Wish List” of items routinely needed at the kennel that directly help GRRAND dogs and those who care for them.
GRRAND is particularly looking for the grooming items for the new kennel.
You can find GRRAND’s wish list on Amazon. It’s simple and easy, and Amazon will send the items right to GRRAND so donors do not have to bring them in or send the supplies themselves. Put your Prime membership to good use and help make a difference for GRRAND dogs awaiting placement in a foster home.

Simply go to Amazon.com and select Lists, then Find a List or Registry. Search for GRRAND to view the wish list of much-needed items. When you are ready to checkout, just select GRRAND’s Gift Registry address to make sure the items are shipped to GRRAND.

Seeking 2018 GRRAND Affair Planning Committee Members

The GRRAND Affair planning committee is seeking new members for the 2018 event that will be held on November 10th.  Committee members will have the opportunity to engage GRRAND members and community businesses in becoming sponsors for the event or donating live/silent auction items.  Members also have the opportunity to secure donations for beverages and food to be served at the event, raffle items, and bottles for the Bourbon and Wine Pull.  The committee meets once a month throughout the year, and then in the Fall will meet more frequently leading up to the event.

If you are interested in joining the GRRAND Affair Planning Committee, please contact Rachel Swope at rlswope2@gmail.com.

Golden Grooming Tips
Use a good brush to remove loose hair from your pet. Do not allow your pet's hair to become matted. This can be painful to your pet by pulling the skin tight as the hair mats. Keeping you pet's nails trimmed is also a part of good grooming. The inside of the ear should be checked and cleaned regularly. Golden retrievers have a tendency to get ear infections. To prevent this from occurring, clean the ears weekly with a quality ear cleansing solution.
