Election Day *Modified Library Hours & Services*

The library is a polling place for the General Election which is on Tuesday November 3rd. Polling hours are 6 am to 9 pm. To ensure public safety in anticipation of high voter turnout, the MAIN LIBRARY will be CLOSED during polling hours.

 

WE ARE OPEN FOR:

  • Voting: 6 am - 9 pm, lobby and meeting room areas only
  • Drive-Thru Holds PKUP: 11 am - 6 pm
  • Returns: 11 am - 6 pm at front entrance and *drive-thru*

News from the Friends

Welcome Charlie Pensabene, our new Vice President! Charlie is a lifelong reader and library advocate. Since becoming residents 3 years ago, he and his wife have enjoyed weekly trips to the library and look forward to when their newborn daughter will too. With Charlie's passion for reading and community-based activities this role was a perfect fit. Are you interested in becoming a Friends member? Contact us at foegcl@gmail.com.

Join us on Zoom from your own kitchen. Felisha Chandler from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County will guide us as we prepare Southwest Sheet Pan Veggie Hash & Turkey Tacos (or protein of choice)! Appropriate for all ages! You will need a computer, laptop, or tablet to see and participate in this class. A list of ingredients and directions will be emailed to you prior to the event.
