Animate: Bible Study Begins Wednesday, Feb. 22!
Join Pastor Clark and friends on Wednesdays starting February 22 for a seven week Bible study, Animate:Bible.  This week, we'll look at CANON: Mining for the Word with Eric Elnes.  How did 66 cultural history lessons, collections fo poems, family genograms, allegorical stories, and community letters - all gathered from sources that stretch across time and place- become the Bible? In each session, we will watch a video featuring a leading voice from the Christian faith, spend time on personal reflection and journaling, and share ideas with the group. Reply to this e-mail to reserve your copy of the Animate Bible Journal!  The cost of the journal is $15 (scholarships are available.)

Thank you for recycling!   Want to recycle shredded paper?  Bring it to the bin in plastic bags! River Valley is able to separate those bags from the paper.   Remember, if it's paper, don't throw it out  - - bring it to the bin! Tell your friends that recycling at Brecksville UMC earns money to fight hunger!  Thank you for recycling!

Our United Methodist Women collect pop tops for Ronald McDonald House Cleveland. Aluminum pull tabs from any container (soda pop, soup, pet food, etc.) are recycled to earn money for a fund which helps support the families that stay at RMH by providing meals and items for families, assistance in emergencies, and giving families special moments – like small gifts for children if they have a birthday while at the House. Want to help? Bring your pull tabs to the collection bin in the first floor coat room!
