Help Foster Children With Your Everyday Grocery Shopping

If you use a Kroger Plus Card, link it to Foster Care Support (Community Rewards Program #11728) so that we receive a donation every time you shop. If you already have your card linked to us, it may be time to re-enroll.

You can help foster children every time you shop on Amazon. Please sign up for the Amazon Smiles program at and choose Foster Care Support Foundation as your charity. This costs you nothing and it is the same prices and merchandise as the regular but FCSF will receive a donation every time you make a purchase. Please make sure you log on to each time you make a purchase.
Foster Care Support needs large shipping boxes to mail clothing and toys to displaced children outside of metro-Atlanta. Please drop off at the donation center.
Best sizes are 18x18x18 or 24x18x18
A Note From Our Founder

Is it still hot??? We'll be patient as summer comes to an end, but as warm as it is in Georgia,  our hearts are warmer still with the love for the children that are displaced throughout Georgia's foster care homes and in Grandparent and relatives homes. Over 2600 children have already been loved on this year by you, our supporters and sponsors, and another 2400 are expected to come through before the end of this year.
When I started this organization over 20 years ago to help those least supported displaced children, I had no idea how many lives it would touch. I am so proud of the work everyone has done to help displaced children.
With the system always changing, we now see 75% of the children we are serving living with grandparents or relatives. Ninety-five percent of these families have unexpectedly taken on the responsibility of caring for other family member's children without financial stipends or support. Statistics show that most children do better when living with family rather than with strangers so we hope for a great future for all of them. We are happy to help and delighted that you are willing and able to join us in this venture.
Anyone can help but how you help is up to you. Some foster, or take in a relative's child, others fund the FCSF center, or donate needed items or volunteer their time. Together, it works!  Please stop in and share a couple hours or more to either fill an order for a child that can't come, help us with the season change over that's taking place in September and prepare for October's Fall/Winter distribution, be a monthly financial sponsor for a child or two or become a Hope 4 Tomorrow mentor. You will help make a child smile and feel more secure as he learns that he or she is loved.
Remember always, "It's a "WE" Thing"!!
Please share our information with others and "like" our Foster Care Support Facebook page.

May God Bless,
Rachel M. Ewald

Foster Care Support Foundation is seeking 1,000 people to donate $25 or more per month to sponsor a child. Will you help by setting up an automatic donation through your local bank bill-pay system or through the PayPal and be a sponsor for a child?
You too can change a child's life!
Free Fall/Winter Clothes!
While we've been supplying summer clothing to over 2600 children, it's time to make appointments for October and November for warm clothing for the winter months. Watch for the email containing the link to request a Fall/Winter appointment in the next week or two for free clothing, toys, and infant equipment for babies through teens in foster care base homes or being raised by a grandparent or relative to keep them out of foster care. Foster Care Support serves all counties in Georgia either by appointment or mail order.
If you have a new intake, we still serve summer only clothing during the month of September for new children entering the system while we swap the seasons to winter in the distribution center.
Foster Care Support provides free seasonal wardrobes year-round. Each child/teen may receive clothing once for spring/summer (Apr-Aug) and once for fall/winter (Sep-Mar). Infants may receive a new wardrobe each time they change size regardless of season (until they reach size 12 months, at which time they will come once per season as others do).

A Note from a Grandparent raising their Grandchild
This email is for everyone that is involved in this great program. My grandchildren received their clothing yesterday. I don’t know how everything is done there, but I just want you to know how much we appreciate everything. I know there is a lot of work behind this program. We thank you all and give a HUGE HUG!

Volunteers needed!
We need 15,000 volunteers each year to help process and distribute free clothes and toys to over 4,500 children per year. Volunteer hours at the distribution center are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30am-5pm. Individuals and groups are welcome. Children ages 12 to 15 may volunteer if accompanied by an adult but we are limited on the number of youth we can take at one time. Youth ages 16 and older may come without an adult but the volunteer waiver must be signed at the distribution center by the parent when arriving. In order to effectively plan our days, please email or call 770-375-0865 to sign up to help and let us know you.
