Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra

Tap your toes to the syncopated classics of Scott Joplin brought back to life by the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra! Peacherine, “the premier American ragtime ensemble,” as hailed by The Washington Post, celebrates the King of Ragtime and his stirring instrumental favorites, all played from the original historic orchestral scores. In the Courtroom Theater at MPAC.

Spuds & Suds (Benefitting SGT SPUD)

This fundraising event pairs beers & a Hand Grenade Potato, a new concept from Chef Patrick Stark - a special brined potato stuffed with an array of ingredients based on four geographic locales. This event benefits SGT SPUD, a charity focused on clean food, better eating for veterans, and a platform for veterans to earn wages.

S'mores & Pours Beer Pairing

A pour of three beers with three Camp Fire s’mores will benefit Camp Fire Lone Star! While you enjoy your pairing, catch the Cowboys game on the big screen at noon. Enter the cornhole tournament ($50 fee to enter) hosted by Texas Cornhole League starting at 3:30 p.m. S’mores for kids are free!

Hometown...My Town Exhibit

Darby LaGrave’s new collection of pen and inks as well as paintings depict Farmersville, a small town in Texas. Through her artwork, the artist embraces her life with its harmony of voices and experiences. The pen and ink drawings capture historic structures and contemporary places, and will be published in a calendar celebrating Farmersville. Artist talk at 7 p.m. Live music.

Dinosaurs Live | Thru Feb. 18

Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the nature trails. This year's exhibit features an dig for outdoor fossils. The trail is jogging stroller friendly. (Photo: Uncle_Bekah)

Third Saturday Nature Talks  
These talks cover an assortment of natural science topics which vary each month. Program may include an outside component so please dress appropriately. Included with museum admission. 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Nature Storytime | Friday

This weekly storytime focuses on nature-related stories to engage children in learning and an appreciation and care of nature. Included with general admission, 10:30-11 a.m.
