“Where ask is have, where seek is find,

where knock is

- Christopher Smart

Worship with us this Sunday!
8:30 Worship on the Lawn. 10:00 Worship in the Sanctuary.
Our Summer Worship schedule begins this Sunday! Join us at 8:30 am on the church lawn. This casual, come-as-you-are service includes all the important elements of worship in a beautiful, outdoor setting in the shade of the trees. Grab a lawn chair or blanket (or use one of our folding chairs), join us on the front lawn of the church, and feed your spirit on Sunday morning!
Prefer the air conditioned comfort of the Sanctuary?  Join us at 10 am with friends old and new to hear Pastor Clark's message. Details below!
Sunday's Message:  Clenched fist, open hand.
Sunday's Scriptures: Psalm 81:1-10 and Mark 2:23-3:6
Sunday's Announcements:  Read them here!
Sunday's Music:  Click here for a playlist of songs for the services.
Did you miss last Sunday's Message?  Hear it here! (Scroll to the bottom of the page.)
We will also be celebrating our graduates!
We will recognize the class of 2018 at both services and wish them well as they move into the next phases of their lives.  Our High School's commencement ceremony is this weekend.  Congratulations all!
Saturday, June 2 at 11 am.
Back in 1976, Phil and Gloria Hines joined our church family. Now his family invites us to help celebrate his life.  Pastor Barbara will officiate his memorial service at 11 am.  A light reception in Fellowship Hall follows. The family suggests those wishing to make a donation in Philip’s memory consider a contribution to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation or the Brecksville United Methodist Church.

The word liturgy comes from the Greek meaning “work of the people”.   Are you feeling the call to become more involved in worship and the work of the people? As a liturgist, you will lead the Call to Worship, and read the first scripture, the offertory invitation and the offertory prayer.  These readings are prepared for you by Pastor Clark and sent to you early in the week before you serve.  Everyone is encouraged to participate! If you have concerns about pronunciations, Pastor Clark is happy to help. Summer worship times begin June 3, with services at 8:30 and 10 am.

Ushers are needed for 10:00 service this Sunday,  June 17 and 24.  Liturgists needed for both services on June 24.
