College Panhellenic Programming

This month we want to tell you about some of NPC’s resources and programming opportunities. We often are asked, “What can our College Panhellenic do to create programming for our community?” or “How can we offer meaningful opportunities without creating mandatory programming?” We hope these NPC resources and programs can spark ideas and advance your Panhellenic.

  • Consulting Team Visit: Your campus can request a team of NPC experts to visit and provide consultation tailored to a specific subject, such as recruitment, or a dive deep into all areas of Panhellenic organization and management. The deadline to reserve your spring 2019 Consulting Team Visit is Oct. 31.
  • College Panhellenic Academy: NPC is proud once again to offer College Panhellenic Academy Jan. 25-26, 2019, in Indianapolis and at two regional conferences. Registration is first come first serve and offers participants the opportunity to learn from NPC directly. Learn more on our website.
  • Recruitment Counselor Training Online: In partnership with LaunchPoint, NPC offers this program with online and in-person training offered in five modules that are self-paced to fit your needs. It’s an ideal way to ensure recruitment counselors on your campus are well-prepared for their important responsibility. Email info@launchpointconsulting.com to learn more about this program.
  • Potential New Member Orientation: Potential New Member Orientation (PNMO) is a program designed in partnership with LaunchPoint to improve a potential new member’s experience with joining a sorority. This online, self-paced educational tool provides consistent recruitment education and a continuing recruitment resource to potential new members as well as a time-saving opportunity for fraternity/sorority advisors and College Panhellenics. PNMO covers many topics, including an overview of fraternity and sorority life, terms and definitions, an explanation of Panhellenic recruitment, benefits of membership and the sorority experience and more. Email info@launchpointconsulting.com to learn more about this program.

Be Bold

Be Bold is a new educational program from NPC. This interactive video series offers women the opportunity to explore critical topics affecting their lives and empowers them to be their best, most authentic selves. The Be Bold program materials – facilitator guide, participant guide and videos – can be downloaded from the NPC website under Programs > Be Bold.

NPC partnered with Erin Fischer, owner and CEO of The Leadership and Training Studio, to create the Be Bold program that includes seven self-paced videos featuring Fischer as well as facilitator and participant guides.

Promoting Panhellenic

Did you know that the NPC Store and Herff Jones can be a partner for your College Panhellenic? The NPC Store can help with custom orders to support programming and recruitment, and Herff Jones can create meaningful memories for your graduating officers with a stole order for your campus.

Make sure to check out the store and Herff Jones for opportunities to partner.

Database Update

On Monday, Oct. 15, we “froze” the information in our current database so we can prepare for the conversion to the new one. For Panhellenics, this means when you go to the NPC website > Resources > Log In As Your Panhellenic, you can no longer access the database (and therefore, cannot add or change information).

We expect FS Central to be online in November. Once NPC staff has completed training, we will send your Panhellenic instructions on how to use FS Central. Please stay tuned for those instructions.
