If you love Jesus, you have to have faith, but you also have to pursue understanding on a deeper level. Fr. Mike and Fr. James Heft, SM, investigate just how to do this.
Fr. Heft, SM, is a professor at the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at USC. He has edited many books that are used in universities around the country. Some of these involve inter-religious dialogue, and economics and justice. Among them are: "Beyond Violence", "Learned Ignorance", and "Catholics and Inter-religious Dialogue."
Their discussion centered on the difference of being religious versus being spiritual. Fr. Heft gave the “best spin” on this concept and then spoke about what he thinks is really happening.
By the end of this interview, you will want to become more educated in your own faith. It is a great interview so don’t miss "Faith Talk" with Fr. James Heft, SM, on:
