This important exhibition by one of America’s most popular watercolorists depicts the “Ring of Fire,” or Pacific Rim, an area that is often associated with tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes.  It is also an area of unrivaled beauty.  From 1932 to 1968 Eliot O’Hara painted on location from Mexico to South America, O’Hara’s legacy as an artist places him at the end of an era of American masters who depicted his perception of new lands by recording it on canvas.
