These figure play a vital role as the Synod Finance Committee monitors the 2020 Spending Plan adopted by the Synod Assembly. January 31, 2020. Deadline for 2019 Mission Support Contributions. The deadline for 2019 Mission Support contributions is January 31, 2020. Checks must be in the office (not postmarked) by that date. Also, it is important that the Remittance Form is marked correctly to indicate whether a contribution is intended for the year 2019 or 2020. After the January 31 cutoff date, all receipts will be credited as 2020 contributions.


May 2020. Visit Our Saxony Companion Synod. Have you ever considered visiting Germany? An invitation has been received from our Saxony companion synod inviting a delegation of 15 to visit Germany this coming spring. It is an opportunity to explore our historical roots, reflect upon ministry here and abroad and strengthen our relationship with our German brothers and sisters in Christ. We are looking to travel between May 3 and 15(depending on flights) and participants are responsible for their expenses. Tina Heydt, wife of Jeremiah Heydt, (Pastoral Care Provider, Mt Zion, Krumsville; jtheydt@gmail.com) whose son-in-law, Jon, died tragically last Friday in a one vehicle accident. We pray also for Jon's wife, Brandi; their children; and Jon's parents.

P/T Volunteer Coordinator (12-10)

St. Josephs Hill, Boyertown is hiring a part-time volunteer coordinator. The purpose of this position is to provide all members an opportunity to serve as volunteers in the congregation; and to coordinate the ways in which members are identified, recruited, trained, and supported in volunteer ministries. This position will also contribute to the church’s mission and the members’ spiritual growth through volunteer services. A maximum of 15 hours a week, including a bi-weekly staff meeting is required to fulfill these duties. The hours will fluctuate depending on the season, and the hours are flexible. P/T Choir Director (12-9)

St Daniel, Robesonia, is seeking a Choir Director to join the congregation’s music ministry team. This is a part-time position be serving weekly from September 1 through the Day of Pentecost with one rehearsal plus Sunday off each month while leading a 12 to 15 voice choir. An additional responsibility is working with the Reading Pops Orchestra to present the extremely popular Annual Christmas Vesper Service. St. John, Sinking Spring, is seeking an energetic, qualified professional to fill the position of Music Director. Candidates must exhibit proficiency in playing the piano, and be willing to learn and play the organ, if not already proficient. St. John, Emmaus is seeking a part-time Director of Christian Education. Requirements: Shall develop and coordinate the Christian Education programs for Cradle Roll, Sunday Church School, Confirmation Ministry, Vacation Bible School, Adult Education and Youth Ministry. PT Music Director (10-17)

PT Music Director (15-20 hrs/wk) needed for a vibrant Lutheran congregation. Responsible for providing music for two Sunday worship services plus seasonal and holiday services. Experience with Lutheran liturgy and hymnals preferred. The ideal candidate will: provide a broad array of music (a blend of traditional and contemporary), be proficient with piano and organ; be able to lead an adult choir, hand bell choir, youth and children’s musical groups, plus Sunday School music and VBS, and work with our praise band.
