with Deacon Tim O'Callaghan

In this interview by Dr. Susan Stafford, Deacon Tim O’Callaghan tells of his extended ministry as Deacon/ Administrator of St. Andrew’s Church, Boulder City, NV.

Deacon Tim tells of the tremendous influence his father had on his life, tied in with his calling to the Deaconate. The stories of three figures from Scripture – Elijah, Samuel and Saul – define his spirituality and how he lives to this day.

Elijah heard God in the whispers, not in the wind and storms. Samuel was called by God and answered “Here I am, Lord.” Saul was knocked down on his way to Damascus and was blinded. Deacon Tim explains how these men helped to shape his own life.

But the greatest influence came from his father, especially in social justice and Cesar Chavez!  Don’t miss In the Footsteps with Deacon Tim O’Callaghan on Sunday, December 30 on

… we’ve got a small favor to ask. More people are logging on to our daily Apps (in English and Spanish) than ever, but far fewer are supporting them by a small donation.  So you can see why we need to ask for your help.  Wordnet's independent sharing of God's Word takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce despite the fact that all presenters do it gratis. But we do it because we believe communicating the Word of God matters – because it might well be your belief  too.
If everyone who watches these daily meditations will help to support it for as little as one $ a day these messages will continue to a world hungry for the word of God.
