Saturday, June 23

Hello, Summer!

Summer arrived this week, so Saturday is officially the first market of the summer season! It's sure to be another great day to wander through our vendor stands and stock up on the best in local produce, meats, dairy and prepared goods.

Vendor News

Here's what you can expect from our vendors this week...

A'Dello Winery: Wines made locally in Montgomery County. Varieties include Pinot Noir, Chambourcin, Rose, Chardonel, Sweet Niagra, and fruit wines (blueberry, peach and apple).

Balanced: Skincare designed to protect you and your family from biting insects during this coming summer season. All natural Insect Repellent is now available. Stop by and pick up your bottle.

Carmen B's Honey: Local, natural Chester County honey from our hives to your table. Their honey is simply strained, not boiled or altered in any way. Great for eating raw, baking, or adding to any dish.

Cocky Gourmet Confections: Gourmet candy with attitude! Try all of their flavors they guarantee your taste-buds will thank you!

DAJ Mushrooms: Located in Landenberg and specializing in exotic mushrooms.

Feine Coffee: (say FEEN, like in caffeine) Located in Conshohocken this fun and inviting cafe has acquired the coffee roasting equipment from Sweet Tree Artisan Roasters, started by Ian and Melissa Kingsley. Feine will be providing coffee for the Market this year including the popular Nitro Cold Brew.

Firehouse Donuts: Home-made, artisanal donuts made fresh each day in Springfield, Delaware County.

Five Saints Distilling: Family, community, commitment and dedication to quality describe the lives of the Saints. They are inspired in their honor to distill premium quality spirits in small batches.

Gayle Flaer: Will be bringing her beautiful handcrafted jewelry.

Green Lion Bread: A not-for-profit micro-bakery dedicated to sourcing local and regional whole grains, including heritage and ancient grains that are organically grown. Their naturally leavened breads are handcrafted with stone ground flours they mill themselves to result in the freshest, full-flavored, nutrient dense loaves for your table.

Handmade in Latvia: Detailed handmade crochet items from Latvia and the United States.

Health & Tea: Committed to offering the best natural, healthy, and delicious loose-leaf teas. Their teas are pure, fresh and taste great. As they use only high quality tea leaves, they do not need to add other ingredients. They work directly with organic tea farmers as they care where and how each of their teas grow. They visit their farmers regularly and consider them as friends. They are passionate about tea and strive to build long lasting relationships with their farmers and customers. This week come try their healthy and organic matcha. As always, a 16 oz bottle of refreshing Matcha To Go is only $2.00.

Hedgehog Grill: Locally owned food truck serving sandwiches and snacks.

Jack's Farm: Growing USDA Certified Organic non-GMO vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers.

King of Prussia Historical Society: Will have a King of Prussia then and now display with more old maps. They will also have t-shirts available and a scanner handy--so bring in those old photographs. They are especially interested in photos of places of interest around the township from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Lavinia's Cookies: All-natural, locally sourced, freshly made cookies and biscotti. This week they will be featuring white chocolate chip blueberry cookies and cranberry orange biscotti!

MacDougall's Irish Victory Cakes: Treat your taste buds like royalty with these cakes made of all natural ingredients.

Maiale Deli and Salumeria: Hand-crafted sausages and dried salumi.

MoJo's Pop Co: All natural, gluten free, made with love, and locally sourced with non-GMO Pennsylvania popcorn.

Nurturing Nature Farm: Located in Boyertown this beautiful farm owned-and-operated by Cathy Olsen brings us a changing array of nature's bounty: potted herbs and seedlings in the spring, wildflowers in the summer, gourds and decorative items in the fall.

Paper Cuts & Cards: Fabulous handmade birthday, baby, wedding, graduation, and thank you cards. This week Susan will be giving away handmade 4th of July fans!

Peach Bottom Farm: Lancaster County farmer Jonas Miller features vegetables, eggs, Amish baked goods, cheeses, yogurt, and herbs.

Pure Scents Candle Co: Margaret is making her last visit before heading inside until September. Because the candles are all natural, they can not tolerate the summer heat and sun. Along with her selection of gorgeous scents, she will have a special offering. A limited supply of "Morning Mugs" will be available. These vibrant Art Deco coffee cups and saucers hold a variety of coffee and tea scented candles. After you enjoy the candle, just clean the cup and you have a pretty cup and saucer!

Robin Hill Organics: A small family farm located in Newtown Square who grow high-quality organic vegetables for the community. This week they will be bringing beets, garlic scapes, lettuce heads and mix, radishes, Japanese salad turnips, and other greens.

Spring Creek Farms: They will have your certified organic, 100% grass-fed dairy and beef products. Their poultry is also certified organic and they are raised on pasture and rotated around the farm like the cows. Be sure to try a wedge of their cheddar cheese. It has just finished its aging process... and 100% their milk.
