Kentucky Colonel Mint...perfect for Mint Juleps
Try this simple recipe!
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (about 16), plus 2 fresh mint sprigs
1 tablespoon sugar
3 ounces bourbon
In a mint julep cup or thick glass, muddle the mint leaves and sugar with 1 teaspoon water until the sugar is dissolved, 1 minute.
Pack the glass with crushed ice and top with the bourbon.
Serve garnished with a fresh mint sprig.
