Mark your calendars

Parents are invited to attend class during Observation Weeks.  These will take place the following days for dancers in the

Pre-Ballet (Dance w/Me, Pre-Ballet 1, 2) & Intermediate Divisions (Ballet 3, 4, 5)
February 27th to March 4th, 2017

Primary (Ballet 1, 2, Ballet Prep), Pre-Professional (Ballet 6, 7, 8), ALL JAZZ CLASSES, &

Adult Divisions

March 6th to March 11th, 2017

Please plan ahead: we do not offer makeup weeks.

Observation weeks are intended for parents, relatives and older siblings who are able to understand classroom etiquette. If younger siblings attend, please understand that it is often very difficult for them to remain quietly seated for the entire class time.  Please turn off all cell phones and pagers before entering the studio and please refrain from talking during class either to the dance students or to fellow observers.  You may video record parts of class but please do not post on social media without permission. Not all students can be on social media.

NEW: We have a disgruntled neighbor that lives in the house directly behind us.  If you don't mind, please try not to park in front of his house.  There is no law saying you can't but he has given our staff a difficult time.  Also, PLEASE make sure you park legally (don't block driveways or alleys).  We don't want to be in trouble with the police department.

Some of our dancers in our upper divisions have been taking part in auditions for summer intensives. The auditions are a good experience for our dancers because they get the opportunity to take a master class with a teacher from a different professional ballet school and they get to work on their auditioning skills.  Auditions are still going but so far congratulations to the following dancers:

Please make sure you have read our Student Handbook and our familiar with our website.  There is a lot of information available to you on our website and we have physical copies of our handbook available on the table in the lobby.  Please note that if you are leaving the school after your four month commitment you need to physically come in and fill out a drop form 30 days prior to the 1st of the month. We do not accept drops over the phone or via email because you are too busy, and will not automatically drop you just because you stopped coming to class.  Please make sure you follow these policies.  And lastly, please make sure you are familiar with our dress code (and yes it is required of all students including dancers in Ballet 1 and Ballet Preparatory).  And for all girls in Ballet 1 and Ballet Preparatory and higher,  hair is required to be in a classical bun.  There is information on the website on how to do this. Thanks!
Don't miss this exciting new ballet!
Littleton Youth Ballet will be presenting a brand new production on Snow White on March 18th and 19th.  This is an original world premiere ballet to music by Gabriel Faure, Edgar Holst, and Daniel Auber. This ballet centers on the young and beautiful Snow White and her journey through the forest, where she meets the comical seven dwarves and escapes her stepmother, the evil Queen, who is jealous of Snow White’s beauty. Snow White is rescued by a handsome prince and they live happily ever after. The ballet features 60 young dancers and Colorado Ballet dancer, Bryce Lee as the Prince.
Come see a fantastic ballet and support your ballet company as well!
Performances are at Lone Tree Arts Center on Saturday, March 18th at 6:00 pm and Sunday, March 19th at 12:00 and 5:00 pm
