Dear --FNAME--,

We caught up with Nancy Roper and took a tour of the beautiful gardens at her restaurant, Truck. Known not only for their delicious drinks and their 'Northern New Mexican' cuisine, this local gem has given us a delicious local veggie taco recipe for VegOut. If there is something you'd like to see in our next newsletter, let us know!

Learn what's fresh when!
Before you go searching for local food, check out the New York State Dept. of Agriculture's Harvest Calendar to identify what you are looking for.
If you see something at the market that doesn't grow here this month, ask how it was grown.  Perhaps the farm has a greenhouse or they are using hydroponic or aquaponic technology, or perhaps what you see is not so local after all.
